BENTONVILLE BIKE FEST - COVID-19 POLICY
With vaccinations currently being rolled out across the US, we are confident that travel and events will be able to continue in a more normal manner in time for Bentonville Bike Fest in June. We have worked hard to ensure we have the appropriate policies and procedures in place for a successful event.

The following guidelines are there to ensure the safety and health of our riders and festival goers. These are the minimum recommendations for what can be safely achieved while maintaining our vision for the Bentonville Bke Best.

Bentonville Bike Fest will only proceed once we have addressed the following questions:

  • Based on local and national legislation and guidelines, can we conduct an event?
  • Can we conduct an event without compromise to the Bentonville Bike Fest experience?
  • Will our event have a negative impact on the health and livelihood of the local community?
  • Will our riders feel that adequate provision has been put in place to ensure the safety of their health?

General rules to follow by everyone entering the festival area:

  • Every person entering the festival area has to wear masks covering nose and mouth (preferably FFP2 mask or of similar quality)
  • Athletes that are competing may only remove masks when they are racing or competing.
  • Hand sanitizers will be on site at the points of entrance, it is recommended to cleanse hands every time one enters the festival.

We are determined that Bentonville Bike Fest should only proceed 18-20 June, if the above criteria can be met. If anyone either staff, volunteers, workers, athletes, vendors, sponsors, racers or festival goers have been in contact with, or show symptoms of COVID-19 it is essential they stay at home and self isolate.

FAQ’s
