Strider creates and inspires future generations of riders by giving children as young as six months old the best first-bike experience. Strider Bikes revolutionized the bike’s design to develop a child’s balance first and pairs each balance bike with a proven learn-to-ride process. Children across the globe are starting on a Strider Bike and becoming two-wheeling virtuosos – before they’re out of diapers.
Founded in 2007, in Rapid City, South Dakota, Strider has sold more than 2 million bikes and is distributed in more than 75 countries.
As part of our mission of promoting riding and being active we have developed and run our Strider Cup races across the country and are happy to be hosting one with the Bentonville Bike Festival!
Strider Cup races are the highest level national Strider sanctioned races that give small children a chance to put their Strider Balance Bike skills to the test at several stops across the USA and worldwide. These unique Strider organized and operated events cater directly to children 2-6 year old’s who want to experience the thrill of racing. Children of all sizes and skill levels are welcome to participate. STRIDER No-Pedal Balance Bikes are developed for both learning the ropes of riding and honing advanced skills in racing.
This race is for Genuine STRIDER Bikes only. No other balance bike brands are allowed.
Our Strider 14x balance bike class is an open class race for racers 3 to 6 year old’s. If you are not familiar with the bike go HERE and check it out. While the 14x bike has a Pedal Kit this race will be in balance bike mode only. See the rules link below for the 14x race rules. One big advantage of this particular racing class is that if your racer would like to race twice on race day there is that possibility. He/she could race once in the 3 or 4 year old class on a 12" Strider bike and then race again in the 14x Class with his/her own 14x bike. Two separate registrations would be required.
Online pre-registration is required for the 2, 3 and 4 year old classes and online registration ends at 11:30pm on June 14th. There will be no registrations after that time or on race day.
Registrations for the 14x class can be made 1) online up until the above mentioned time 2) thereafter only in person at the packet pickup on the Friday prior to race day or 3) race day up until 1 hour prior to the scheduled 14x race.
Only one racer is allowed to register per form. To register multiple racers repeat the registration process for each racer. If a racer is racing in both their age group (2,3 or 4 year olds) and in the 14x Class you will need to repeat the registration process twice; once for each of the race classes.
Tickets purchased via Eventbrite will receive an email confirmation with a link to print your etickets from your computer. You may bring the printout of your tickets OR you may also have the confirmation email available.
No pets are allowed for their safety and the racers. Service animals are welcome.
