The 70 miles Gran Fondo road event presented by Continental & hosted by OZ cycling tours June 19. Come ride with Oz Cycling Tours as we cruise through 70 miles of some beautiful Arkansas country side. Enjoy the rolling hills with friends while gazing on exotic animals, vast pastures and some of our quaint little towns. Aid stations will be providing hydration and fuel.
RIDERS BIBLE & ROUTE
Starting out on 8th street from Bentonville Bike fest at 8 am Sunday morning, we’ll head west towards Centerton for the first 7 miles. Between mile 7-8 we’ll ride the shoulder of Highway 102 till me turn right on highway 279 (6 miles of rolling pastures till hit the town of Hiwasse) Make a right onto Highway 72 for ¼ mile. Then a left onto Forest Hills Bv for the next 4 miles till we hit Highlands Bv then take a left.(end of flat land, climbs begin!) Stay on Highlands Bv for 5 miles till you make right onto Kinross drive continue for the next 4.5 miles. Take a right onto Glasgow Rd for 3 miles (you’ll hit the first of 2 aid stations at the Scottsdale dog park parking lot(mile 30)) get back on Glasgow Rd for 3 more miles till you take a left onto Highlands Bv for ½ mile and continue onto Lancashire Bv which you’ll stay on for 3.5 miles till you hit Chelsey Rd and turn right. Continue on Chelsey Rd for 9 miles till you make a right back onto Lancashire Bv, continue for 6 miles. Turn right onto Bethnal Rd and hit the second aid station (mile 46). Get back on Bethnal Rd and continue a 1 mile till you turn left onto Grosvenor Rd and continue for 2 miles till you merge onto Highway 94 then another 2.5 miles. Make a right onto McNelly Rd and go 6 miles through the intersection past the Lowes and continue onto Peach Orchard Rd(stay on Peach Orchard till you see the big Coler sign). Turn left at the Coler Sign onto Pumpkin Holler Rd which merges with NW 12th St(1 mile). Go through the intersection at Walton and 12thonto Tiger Bv. Take a right onto Bella Vista Rd, take a right onto Main St, follow that for 1 mile till you make a left onto 8th street, then strait back to the Festival! 64.1 miles total.

What to bring:
Helmet, Sun glasses, 2 tubes, Tube patch kit, Hand pump or co2’s, Tire levers, Multi-tool, rear red flashing light, at least 2 water bottles, your preferred snacks & Hydration(additional snacks and hydration will be available at aid stations).
